I Scream, You Scream, We All Scream for Ice Cream {Ice Cream Cone & Cupcake Cookies}

Hi everyone!
I am super far behind on posting pictures of cookies we've done lately. We had a ridiculously busy May & June, but so far July is looking less busy, so hopefully I'll have some more time to update. I do make a habit of posting pictures on facebook, so you can always check our page there to see the most recent cookies we've done!

These cookies were made back in the beginning of May for a sweet 3 year old's birthday party! Miss Preslee loves everything girly, so I was excited to make some fun ice cream cones and cupcakes! I particularly love how the "drips" from the ice cream worked out. Enjoy!

Beachball Birthday!

Some of our good friends have a little boy who celebrated his 3rd birthday today! He had a super fun backyard party complete with crazy sprinklers, a pool and a waterslide. What more could a 3 year old want?! I have never seen a kid enjoy the water as much as Parker did. I think he would stay out there playing all day if his mama would let him. For decorations there were about 20 beachballs around the yard for the kiddos to play with...which totally inspired the cookies for the party. I made beachballs and swim trunks to go along with the theme. Happy Birthday Parker!

Popcicle Party!

My totally awesome nephew turned 2 last Friday. He had a popcicle party, well, because, to put it mildly, the little dude is obsessed with popcicles. Based on the pictures I have from the party, I believe he consumed 4 different popcicles within 2 hours. That would be in addition to the cake and cookies that were also there. We made a few different cookies for his party, so check out the pics below!

SummerTime

Flip Flop

It's officially summer. And summer means hot. Or at least it does here in the Texas panhandle. Like record breaking hot (111. For real yo. {I'm so street. Didn't you know?}). Stay inside the house and never want to leave hot. But it's at least a dry heat.... or so I'm told. Although I am a person that much prefers the dry heat to humidity. I'll take dry skin over feeling the need to take a shower every 10 minutes.

But you probably didn't need to know that.

Why was I talking about summer again??

Oh yeah. Summer = flip flops. Unless you're me. And then spring and fall also equal flip flops. Don't be like me. Wear weather appropriate shoes.

So flip flops, huh? Love 'em. Love 'em even more in cookie form. It took us a lot of cookies to determine how we like to decorate them best. We tried this design before I found these. The second worked SO much better. I'm not even going to show you the first attempt. No one needs to see those. Ever.
